README

token-meter

A Claude Code mod that keeps your token usage on the status line, all the time:

◆ ctx 84k/200k (42%) · 5h 23.5% · 7d 7% · $1.23
  • ctx: tokens in the current context window, out of the model's window
  • 5h / 7d: how much of your plan's 5-hour and weekly limits you've used
  • $: what this session has cost so far

It updates after every reply and whenever a limit moves a whole point.

Install

In a Claude Code terminal session:

/plugin install token-meter --marketplace 1619supply-sudo/token-meter

Answer y to add the marketplace, then pick the user scope. That makes it load in every Claude Code session, including the desktop app's Code tab.
